after 4-5 hrs of play

Update

Well this weekend was full of coolers, bad play and losing money. Granted won some but then lost alot. After playing 8k plus hands in the course of 3-4 days, maxing 4 tables at a time, i found my self down 30 bux and discouraged. Mr.Backerman suggested a brief break, to clear my head review my play etc. After countless hrs of reviewing my hand histories and watching me lose money again lol. I found things i thought i would never pick up on. sorry guys not letting my secrets out here. but def. found my flaws. which is good, glad to see i can review my hands and see where i made the mistakes.

So after taking a day or so off i'll be back on the grind, hopefully after that i can start posting some positive graphs.

Grinding time.

Great couple of days! After a few sweat sessions with "Mr. Backerman" I've seen a complete diffrent change in my play. Between pointing things out i never knew, and well just flat out pointing out basics that over time you take for granted with good cards. Turned positve ROI today, woohoo..but it will def take more than 1 session to be a good player. Being the fact that i have the proper BR to play the stakes i am at deffinetly makes it alot easier/safeier to be a succesfull player.
over 1000 hands today on 2nl. only on 4 tables(due to stipulation in stake aggreement. Hopefully i can prove my self on ward from here.
key hand that was really nice to me.
ME on the button with AA. 1 raiser utg, 3 callers. I raised it pretty big, ended up getting 1 caller. AAJ on the flop. Sweet i'm jumping for joy i got the nutz for the rest of this hand.. i check. guy bets 1/4 of the pot. i call.. k on the turn. i bet 2/3rds of the pot. guy re shoves, and i snap call. huge pot with quad AAAA .. beauty, not only was he a idiot for shoving me but jeez man 2 a on the board dont u think at least some one has 1 of them ...
but that was that finished grinding out the day with some goodhands, and excellent read. Feels awsome to finish a nice long session in with +EV

Wow

Late night and morning yesterday. Played cards literally ALL day, putting up mad hands. Meet up with "Mr.Backerman" around 10ish. We went over some hands, things I could have done better worse.. Too my surprise he actually said i played certain scenarios good. Yay for me. Some times all you need is just that person to really DISECT your play tilll your blue in the face. Just a Quick thanks out to him, Im definetally noticing a big diffrence in my play already.. Played for about another 3-4 hrs, then i watched his play, and picked up on some good pointers. Over all 4 AM in the morning came rather quick.

Slept so late today I wasnt abe to get a good session in just yet wanted to wake up some more.. priobaly play a good 2-3 hr session .. after all it is Friday, and i should be loveing/ spending time with my fiance'.

Decent day, but know lets make it great.

To a beat last night that pissed me off so, I figured it was time to go to sleep. If i raise 4x bb how does some one with 83 suited call me... then when i hit my set, and bet then some more, they still call(only when they have 1 of there suited cards on the board.( and its not like i laid off the betting,, shit i wanted the pot right then and there before someone sucked out on me...any who im sure u get where this is going.. river suck out for a freaking flush on cards that shouldn't even have been thought about playing. lol ahhh i feel better now that i vented.

So i start a fresh day, new beginning. I wake up have a little something to eat, glass of OJ(favorite, along with Apple). get into some awesome sweat pants, and a hoodie, and prepare for the day ahead. Planned a meeting with "Mr.Backerman" for later tonight to discuss some more play issues.

1hr goes by nothing. down a buy in(2 bux) another table comes by, kkvsAA.... k on the flop( im ecstatic, turn blank..BAM HITS ME Ace right on the river. I wanted to hum this keyboard to where ever fulltilt is located lol. took a breath pumped out some pushouts and pull ups and got back on the grind. nothing to fancy, won some lostsome, but boy do i hate playing donks in micro stakes thats a fact. Can't wait to move up and play with more knowledgeable players.

Phone rings.... normally when playing poker i don't care if its the president calling me, i dont pick up , but i recognized the number. Sweet start work on Sat at best buy. 1pm orientation... Good stuff, be able to pay some bills and and start depositing some more dough online to move up in stakes.( although i would rather earn the move up through crushing 2NL, lol cheating and moving me up through a deposit, just so I could get away from the micro donks would be so bad either.

not one to talk about the sex life but dammmm. i knew some how releaseing some endorphines would improve the poker game... theres gotta be a book about that or something. Was getting smacked around by both her and the poker table prior to sex... after sex.. peace and quite just me and my head phones and bammmm no sexualy tension=improved poker performance.lol who would have thunk it right.. currently climping back up the even ladder

day 3, Not amussed to an extent

Well I sat home all day and shadowed my boy while he was 9 table 25 50 cent. was not the day for KK thats for sure. But over all he did have a positive day.

Around 2-3 ish i got the message, sweet lets talk my play and tweak things around. As well as do some more shadowing, with Mr. Backerman, lol. He definitely pointed out some leaks in my game, and I just felt so blind for not noticing them, jeez I've been playing holdem' years now, more so every, since January. But all and all things were good. Funds ended up getting transfered and I went on my merry way as he watched me play and i spoke about why I played something a certain way, and he'd give me his sight, etc.. overall awsome experiance to be able to have a "coach sit there watching u through your every moves and then telling u well i would have done it this way or you did it the right way.

Then i hit the brick.put up decent numbers not to shabby seen the highs, hit the lows. But I'll be back for to attack the drunks that come on late night. Supposed to be easy money. Now that the game has been tweaked I think it will be..

I'm gonna start posting my " hand of the day" up , its gonna be the handthat i thought was the most difficult, i may have either won it or lose it or well folded to it. Just looking for your insight.

Better roll now

Well after a long discussion with an associate. no not loan sharks lol. I got a stake to move on with a appropriate bankroll. Granted its not millions, but it will get me going in the right direction. As well with some good coaching and tweaking of my game, I believe I'm on the positive side of the road to success.

Day 1 conclusion Start day 2

Well my day went pretty well yesterday, I played for ruffly 8 hrs total at a friends house, while he was playing .25 .50 nlh. Watched some football. Was up about $5 on the night, and was gonna head home. When he hit me with"hey I'll stake you for the maddness tonight if you want" me wanting to build my roll and knowing I have done fairly well in that tourny took his stake. Only problem hes 20 min away and the madness was starting in 10, so i sat out 10 min till i got home to get on my desktop. Just when i thought i was in the clear driving home, i get pulled over and get a ticket for my headlight being out(sighs). Fianally got in the door 30 min later, little jerked about the ticket, I start playing the madness. Didn't do to bad for being short staked because of the layover. was card dead for a couple orbits, stole some blinds to make up some ground. Only to get KK right after the first break. I'm in late postion I raise it 4 times to 2 limpers, guy in the bb re raises me, with a high flop % , I call. flop comes xxA, the one card i didn't want to see, he checks i continuation bet, he re raises me all in. Like come one dude WTF. Respecting the fact that he could and probally was playing Arag, I fold but took a huge hit in chips, and to later get donked out top 2 over rivered set.

Cash didnt go so well, guess you can say i tilted. I usually always play 1-2 tables while in the madness it helps me with patience, and with the roll if im doing good lol. this time i guess you can say it backfired on me, all the cash i won in the day and the rest of my roll, dissappeared. set after set, rivered flush after rivered flush. But this is why my bankroll must be able to stand the stakes I play.

haven't been a member to long but i figured what better way to start my postings than with a journey post. just got my pt3 up and running, and im on a mission. I have 6.50$ in my FT account right now and like i said im on a mission. Not so much to take 6.5 and turn it into millions but to build my strength in following proper bankroll management. Granted, I know im already breaking the golden rule of not playing with enough buy ins, but I'm not depositing till i can prove to my self i can follow proper BM. Soo come along for the ride, i'll be posting updates daily.

I'll be playing .01/.02 and possibly the daily dollar or ferguson depending on how i feel. But like i said my main focus is BM and building off that
