been a while but im back

Hey,
Well its been a while since I last updated my blog..things went pretty sour... alot went to my head inregards to the stakes I was playing and thinking i could beat other stakes. I also managed to lose my stake with mr backerman. He taught me a lot and helped me realize quite a few things.

For xmas my lovely fiance' bought me Harrington on cash vol 1 and 2. After some long reading ( a must read for cash games players in my eyes) I decided i was going to give full ring micros another shot.
With only .41 in my account I slowly but easily turned it into 4.00, and am now grinding back up hopefully. I'm trying not to deposit till i can afford to deposit quite a bit, hopefully putting me in for 5nl or 10nl. I truly believe i can grind those stakes and be +EV . well ill be sure to keep this more up to date.

yea its been a while

yea soo between work(new release of windows 7) and mainly playing sngs, for a couple weeks, i should be back on the grind this today. same stakes, just hopeing to begin a positive route. I busted the first bankroll. Hopefully we can see a positive change of event. Tweaked the game quite a bit as well as adjusted some stats, so let the excitment begin.

Update

Well this weekend was full of coolers, bad play and losing money. Granted won some but then lost alot. After playing 8k plus hands in the course of 3-4 days, maxing 4 tables at a time, i found my self down 30 bux and discouraged. Mr.Backerman suggested a brief break, to clear my head review my play etc. After countless hrs of reviewing my hand histories and watching me lose money again lol. I found things i thought i would never pick up on. sorry guys not letting my secrets out here. but def. found my flaws. which is good, glad to see i can review my hands and see where i made the mistakes.

So after taking a day or so off i'll be back on the grind, hopefully after that i can start posting some positive graphs.

Grinding time.

Great couple of days! After a few sweat sessions with "Mr. Backerman" I've seen a complete diffrent change in my play. Between pointing things out i never knew, and well just flat out pointing out basics that over time you take for granted with good cards. Turned positve ROI today, woohoo..but it will def take more than 1 session to be a good player. Being the fact that i have the proper BR to play the stakes i am at deffinetly makes it alot easier/safeier to be a succesfull player.
over 1000 hands today on 2nl. only on 4 tables(due to stipulation in stake aggreement. Hopefully i can prove my self on ward from here.
key hand that was really nice to me.
ME on the button with AA. 1 raiser utg, 3 callers. I raised it pretty big, ended up getting 1 caller. AAJ on the flop. Sweet i'm jumping for joy i got the nutz for the rest of this hand.. i check. guy bets 1/4 of the pot. i call.. k on the turn. i bet 2/3rds of the pot. guy re shoves, and i snap call. huge pot with quad AAAA .. beauty, not only was he a idiot for shoving me but jeez man 2 a on the board dont u think at least some one has 1 of them ...
but that was that finished grinding out the day with some goodhands, and excellent read. Feels awsome to finish a nice long session in with +EV

Wow

Late night and morning yesterday. Played cards literally ALL day, putting up mad hands. Meet up with "Mr.Backerman" around 10ish. We went over some hands, things I could have done better worse.. Too my surprise he actually said i played certain scenarios good. Yay for me. Some times all you need is just that person to really DISECT your play tilll your blue in the face. Just a Quick thanks out to him, Im definetally noticing a big diffrence in my play already.. Played for about another 3-4 hrs, then i watched his play, and picked up on some good pointers. Over all 4 AM in the morning came rather quick.

Slept so late today I wasnt abe to get a good session in just yet wanted to wake up some more.. priobaly play a good 2-3 hr session .. after all it is Friday, and i should be loveing/ spending time with my fiance'.

Decent day, but know lets make it great.

To a beat last night that pissed me off so, I figured it was time to go to sleep. If i raise 4x bb how does some one with 83 suited call me... then when i hit my set, and bet then some more, they still call(only when they have 1 of there suited cards on the board.( and its not like i laid off the betting,, shit i wanted the pot right then and there before someone sucked out on me...any who im sure u get where this is going.. river suck out for a freaking flush on cards that shouldn't even have been thought about playing. lol ahhh i feel better now that i vented.

So i start a fresh day, new beginning. I wake up have a little something to eat, glass of OJ(favorite, along with Apple). get into some awesome sweat pants, and a hoodie, and prepare for the day ahead. Planned a meeting with "Mr.Backerman" for later tonight to discuss some more play issues.

1hr goes by nothing. down a buy in(2 bux) another table comes by, kkvsAA.... k on the flop( im ecstatic, turn blank..BAM HITS ME Ace right on the river. I wanted to hum this keyboard to where ever fulltilt is located lol. took a breath pumped out some pushouts and pull ups and got back on the grind. nothing to fancy, won some lostsome, but boy do i hate playing donks in micro stakes thats a fact. Can't wait to move up and play with more knowledgeable players.

Phone rings.... normally when playing poker i don't care if its the president calling me, i dont pick up , but i recognized the number. Sweet start work on Sat at best buy. 1pm orientation... Good stuff, be able to pay some bills and and start depositing some more dough online to move up in stakes.( although i would rather earn the move up through crushing 2NL, lol cheating and moving me up through a deposit, just so I could get away from the micro donks would be so bad either.
